At Williamstown Primary School we pride ourselves on ensuring that everyone is valued and that no one is ever left behind.  We strive as a school to bring out the very best in each and every pupil, providing opportunities for every child to reach their potential, often leading to transformed lives of both pupils and their families.  

Ambitious, capable learners:

We believe passionately that through high expectations of our pupils, every child should leave our school as a motivated, ambitious, independent learner with a strong sense of identity and self-worth. At Williamstown Primary pupils are encouraged not to fear but instead value failure and through our nurturing environment we help the children to understand this is part of their learning journey.

Ethical, informed citizens:

We encourage our pupils to be proud of their identity within our school, the community and the wider world while embracing differences. Our pupils are encouraged to be inclusive of others and hold  strong moral values.  They will be aware of how they can impact the lives of other people and the planet. 

Healthy, confident individuals:

They will experience a range of strategies to stay healthy both physically and mentally. 

Throughout their time at Williamstown Primary, every pupil will be given the opportunity to take part in a variety of experiences both indoors and outdoors, these activities will help develop essential skills to equip them for lifelong learning and healthy living.

We aim for our pupils to leave Williamstown Primary being adaptable to change, be problem solvers, show resilience throughout their lives and be equipped with the digital skills in readiness for the challenges of the 21st century.
